Math Achievement Award

Today I got to see Easton get an award at school for his performance in math this year. I am so proud of him! He works so hard in school! His teacher this year, Mr. Scherr, had nothing but good to say about Easton! Says he is the biggest helper in class! SOOO Proud of my baby boy! Keep it up boo bear!

Thanksgiving 2010

The holidays are officially here!! I love this time of year. As always we went over to my uncle Joe's house to eat Turkey! Needless to say, I ate so much I was miserable. The best part of the holidays is being with my family. I love them so much! A couple things I am thankful for this Turkey Day:
Jesus.. Being able to make pies w/ my cousin Taylor while my grandma told us how bad we were at making pies.. Easton's unconditional love.. Being able to hug my mom and tell her I love her.. My closeness with my sister.. My beautiful nieces and handsome nephew.. and My extended family and friends..
I feel extremely Blessed!! I have tons and tons to be thankful for! Be Blessed everyone!!

Fun Day in LA...

We went to LA with our friends, The Harvey's and my nephew Jordan. It was such a fun day of shopping, eating, and laughs! I love to see Easton having fun with his cousin! After we went shopping we decided to go down to Hollywood Blvd and walk around. Of course we saw a Michael Jackson impersonator. He was actually a decent looking one too! So as I have the camera ready I hear him tell Easton to "say Chee-eese" in his high Michael voice. And Easton did it! It was so funny! We were all laughing so hard!! Also stopped by Michael's star so the boys could take a picture! They are so silly!

After all the fun, we decided to go to PF Changs, my absolute favorite restaurant, for dinner. It was so good! What a great day with lots of memories!!

Belly Laughs

Had to post this pictures... The other night I had my niece and nephew over for a "spendo night." We played this new game called 'HedBanz". My mom also joined in on the fun. What a FUN FUN FUN game! So many laughs! Who knew a game for kids could be so much fun. Some of the pics below are AMAZING to me. The belly laughs that we had as a family that night will FOREVER be in my heart. To see my son laugh with his cousins, and my niece and nephew and son laugh with their "Nonnie" is something that will be tattooed on my heart. I LOVE moments like this!! Reminds me how truly BLESSED I am. Thank you Jesus for my wonderful family!!

I have been slacking at my blog so I am going to go back to September. My baby boy turned 8 this year! Where has the time gone?? I have no idea. Of course he picked Benihana for dinner. His favorite! Then we went to Farrells for some ice cream and cake! Our friends the Ybarra's and Harveys met us there to surprise Easton!

The past 8 years have been truly amazing! God blessed me with such an amazing lil boy! The joy you bring to my life is undescribable. My best days are "Mom and Easton"days. Just being with you makes me so happy. You have the sweetest heart and are so caring with everyone you come in contact with. You make me proud to call you my son everyday of my life. Thank you for coming into my life and making me the happiest and proudest mama!! I love you with all of my heart boo bear!!! xoxo

We celebrated my Mom's 54th birthday this past weekend (8-21-2010). We went to my bro's scrimmage then my aunt, uncle, and grandma met us in LA for dinner!! We went to BJ's. FUN FUN FUN times. To start our crazy dinner we all decided to see if we all could still touch our noses with our tongues! So our whole table was sticking our tongues out to see if we could touch our noses! Yes in the middle of a restaurant!! But, when my grandma did it, I noticed the table behind me gasping!!! The girl behind me had her hand over her mouth laughing!!! And she thought seeing my grandma doing such a thing was so funny so she begged my grandma to do it again!! And of course we made my grandma do it again!! We are so crazy!! THEN...My mom got her own personal pizookie with a candle! So cute! And OF COURSE, being the crazy, wacky, and unpredictable family we are... We sang "Happy Birthday' as loud as we could, even adding our own hootin' and hollerin'!! That wasnt the funny part though... A guy from another table came over with his Gi-Normous camera and started yelling "Shaallllyyy.. Paparazi Shallllyyy!!!!" And started snapping pictures like he was the paparazi!! Oh my goodness my mom was so embarrassed! We loved every minute of it!! Thee best tiimes are spent with my family! This picture sums up the whole dinner!! My mom is mortified... Which made it so awesome!! Love this Woman!!!!

Summer Fun...

Summer Family Fun...

We had a MASCARENAS' BBQ for the end of summer. I love when our family can get together and enjoy eachothers company!! My family basically lives in walking distance from eachother and I wouldnt change that for the world!! Not many people have their whole family so close but I do and I am so thankful for that!! Blessed indeed!! Here are a few pictures from our lovely BBQ. The first one is of my cousins and I. My cousins are not only my cousins but also my best friends!! The close up is me and my cousin Jess.. AKA MOVE OUT!!! Love her!!

Disney World...

Well, summer is coming to an end!! What a summer it has been. Tons and tons of memories!! Our big Florida trip was a huge success!! My girls played their guts out!! USSSA National Champions! It was so fun to see them win! I am so proud of them! We went up about 4 days early to do all the theme parks and boy did we park hop until our little hearts were content! It was exhausting but always so worth it!! We had SOOOOOOO much fun! Easton had a blast! It was so fun to see him smile and enjoy himself! I love seeing him smile! We are so blessed to havce such special people in our lives who allow us to do what we get to do!! I am so grateful!! Here are a few pictures of our fun trip!! A lot of Easton with friends!!!

Yes we had a blast!! Easton has so many "sisters and brothers" in his life! He is so blessed to have these girls treat him like they do! And all of the families treat him like he is their own!! I am truly thankful for that!! He will be a better person for it in the long run!

Summer, 4th of July, Hollywood, OH MY!!!

Well, summer is flying by already!!! Its already the middle of July! It has been a crazy summer so far. I just recently just got back from Colorado! A long 7 days away from my baby boy!! Its peer torture for me being away! But I got to work and know I will always come back... NOW we leave for Florida in 2 weeks!! I cant wait! Disney world and TONS of fun!! I know Easton is going to have a blast!! Makes me smile just thinking of all the fun he is going to have!! And we get to be together doing it!!
The 4th of July was pretty low key. We ended up going to The Chapmans house unexpectedly! It was fun to spend it with family! Easton had a blast!! Wanted to light every firework we had.. And I had to keep saying NO!!

We had a guest for 3 days staying with us but we had a blast with her! My adopted daughter and Eastons sister he never had! Shiane.. We took her to Hollywood for her first time! Had to much fun! Walked Hollywood Blvd. Saw all of the stars on the sidewalk! Took pictures with stars! (okay, cardboard cut outs)!! And even enjoyed some sidewalk fun!! Here are some pictures!!!
